Synopsis: Elliott (Henry Thomas) is a young boy who lives with his single mother (Dee Wallace), older brother Michael (Robert MacNaughton), and younger sister Gertie (Drew Barrymore). One day, while looking for something in the backyard, he befriends an extraterrestrial who has been abandoned on earth.
