The Ponta das Canas Restinga is a vegetation cover that developed close to the beach and formed a small lagoon. It is a setting of natural wealth and exuberance, as well as being a calm and peaceful place, suitable for strolling and letting yourself be captivated by the landscape. It is also a great place to go for a walk with small children who cannot yet safely enjoy the sea. The restinga was listed by Municipal Decree nº 216, in 1985.
