The south of the island retains the characteristics of a small village. This is one of the main charms of beaches like Frame. Strolling along the shore and watching boats and fishing nets going out to sea is enchanting, especially with the landscape of Ilha das Campanhas in the background. Connected by a bridge to the far right of Praia da Armação, the Isle of Campaigns can be visited and has piers where fishing boats dock, rock formations with interesting architecture and views of the beaches of Armação and butcher. The boundary between these two beaches is made only by a small trail, approximately five minutes on foot. In the Armação region, the main attraction is the beach itself. With a long stretch of sand and regions with different characteristics of the sea, it is ideal for hiking, lounging in the sun, surfing or taking the children. Along the beach, bars and restaurants serve drinks, snacks and meals. If you don't want to lose your tan, street vendors take care of you. From the sands of the beach, fishermen's boats leave that take visitors to the Campeche Island. There, there are beachside restaurants, beautiful landscapes and trails to be explored (transport availability may be restricted to the summer months and sunny weekends). Try the island's typical cuisine at the many seafood restaurants. They are fresh ingredients, freshly caught on the beach. Most establishments are open for lunch and dinner. During the season, the opening days and hours still increase. Armação's nightlife is lively in the summer months, but it still retains the simplicity of a small fishing village. The fun revolves around the center, where the Church of Sant'Ana. Along the waterfront, tourists and locals stroll on foot, there are street artists, artisans exhibiting their work and live music in bars and restaurants. Souvenir shops and beach gadgets are also open at night.
