Sant'Anna Church

Built in 1772, the Sant'Anna Church is one of the main features of the beach. It was there that the harpooners and crew of the whalers would confess and hear mass before the fishing began. Then the priest would go down to the beach to bless the boats going out to sea. Practically nothing remains of the original church, although it retains many features of the renovation carried out in 1838. Another renovation, carried out in 1948, completely modified the original facade of the building.
