Trail to Saquinho Beach

A Trail to Saquinho Beach part of the path that connects the Solitude Beach to Shipwrecked Beach. The trail starts at the right corner of the beach, after the bridge over Rio das Pacas, with access via an alley. Its beginning is slightly inclined and is well marked. After a few tens of meters, already on the cliffs, you can see the beauties of the region, with a wide view of the beaches of Solidão, Azores e south swamp. Praia do Saquinho has only 50 meters of sand, approximately. The rest of the boundary between land and sea is covered by stones. These rock formations form jagged cliffs, very interesting. With no roads and no electricity, a small community is formed in Saquinho, around 20 families, who insist on keeping themselves isolated from the rest of the island, occupying the valley and the small white sand beach.
