Engenho dos Andrade mansion

The Casarão Engenho dos Andrade is an important historical patrimony of Santa Catarina, as it contains equipment used to manufacture manioc flour, brown sugar, sugar cane spirit and other products from the region. An authentic Azorean house, dating from 1860, of rustic construction, dirt floor and exposed roof. These pieces are in excellent condition. Probably, due to its grandeur, it exerted a great influence on the economic formation of the parish.
