Our Lady of Fatima Square

The area occupied by Nossa Senhora de Fátima Square began to be expropriated in 1953, forming a square with about half its current size. In 1976, when the Florianópolis Master Plan began to be implemented, in a process that also led to the widening of streets, the construction of some new sidewalks and the arrival of the sewage network in the region, the space was expanded and the square reached the that we know today. It is an important meeting point for the residents of the neighborhood, also serving as a space for events promoted by the Parish, especially the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo. It has benches, tables for games, playground and spaces for practicing sports activities. There is also a monument to the fighters of the Second World War.
