Having its first edition held in 1999, the fenaostra comes to your 18ª edition and is consecrated in Florianópolis as the festival that most exposes the island's culture to its visitors, whether natives or tourists from Brazil and around the world.
The festival promotes a true rescue of gastronomy and typically Azorean culture da Santa Catarina Island, characterized by serving dishes of oysters, be them steamed, au gratin, in natura, among many other delicious ways to prepare seafood, offered by restaurants and seafood associations.
And in addition to all this programming, there are also shows with local bands, crafts, art and gastronomy workshops, stories like those of Franklin Cascaes and space for children and adults with wooden play. The festival will be again in October and the dates should be announced soon.
