Known as Brazilian Tyrol, referring to the European region where Austria is located, Thirteen linden trees promotes one more Tirolerfest, a beautiful and joyful celebration of Austrian traditions in the State of Santa Catarina. The party, which goes from 11 the 15 October, shows the public the entire heritage of its colonizers, with musical, folk and dance performances, typical cuisine and lively dances, all of this, of course, washed down with lots of draft beer. A Tirolerfest takes place since the commemoration of the first year of foundation of the municipality, in October 13th, 1934.
