Ufsc Library | Library in Florianópolis The Ufsc Central Library was created in 1968 with the aim of gathering the institution's collections and improving the conditions for providing services and optimizing the use of information by the university community. It has a collection of works from all areas of knowledge in different media, reference materials, special collections and also stores the scientific production of the institution (theses and dissertations, periodicals and books produced at Ufsc). Despite being linked to the university, it is open to the whole society and even offers a special service to assist the visually impaired.
