Stone of the Magnet Trail

Until arriving at the coast, one walks through the restinga and native vegetation. This place is so called because there is an archaeological site in which one of its rock inscriptions has a sign located at a magnetic point that disorients compasses. Still, there is a mysterious footprint carved into the stone and grinders of various sizes.

There are five lithic stations with granite and basalt grinders. Along the coast you have a spectacular view of Ilha do Xavier and Praia da Joaquina. And, if the sea is in good condition, you can even dive in its crystal clear waters. The cool thing is to take your snorkel throughout the tour of Campeche Island.

In case of excessive rain, the trails will be cancelled.
