São Francisco Church

With architecture mixing baroque and neoclassical styles, the São Francisco Church belongs to the Third Order of São Francisco da Penitência, having been inaugurated in 1815, it remains as a remnant of the Colonial Period in Florianópolis. As the Order has always been protective of the less fortunate, the Church's entrance houses beggars who rely on the charity of the devotees. Address: Corner of Deodoro Street and Felipe Schmidt Street
