Museum of the Santa Catarina School

O Museum of the Santa Catarina School started its activities on November 16, 1992, but the building is much older and was originally built, in 1924, to house the Santa Catarina Normal School, in existence since 1892. Escola Normal was one of the first four vocational education establishments in Florianópolis, together with the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios and the schools of Santa Catarina and Coração de Jesus.
