The Cave of the Bats is a rock formation that forms a shelter with an area of approximately 15 by 30 meters. Opening to the sea on the southeast side, it crosses the island.
To get to the cave, follow a trail through the Atlantic Forest. Upon reaching the shore, there are five signs on the rocks, in addition to a wonderful ocean view. It is not possible to dive through the natural pools formed in the rocks.
The return can be done by means of a previously arranged boat or by the west coast trail. If you decide to take the trail, it's a 30-minute walk.

The return of the trail can also be done by boat, but it is necessary to schedule with a boatman beforehand. Another option is the trail, carried out along the west coast, passing close to cliffs. In this case, the visitor will go through the Lookout Stone and by an archaeological site with lithic workshops and rock inscriptions. In case of excessive rain, the trails will be cancelled.
