Avenue das Rendeiras

Passing the stone bridge, you reach the Avenue das Rendeiras, known by this name because of the "traditional lacemakers" who lived there. There are still small wooden houses with native lacemakers displaying their bobbin lace. The activity is almost extinct. Along the avenue, many people walk or run, in addition to being the edge for water sports. Along its entire length there are restaurants specializing in seafood, bars and nightclubs.
