During the day, the beach is the biggest leisure attraction in Saquinho Beach. In the summer season, you can see colorful umbrellas vying for space on the small strip of sand. On both the north and south coasts, tourists and locals alike venture to collect fresh shellfish that grow on the rocks. For those who like to walk in the middle of nature, the trail that starts from Praia do Saquinho leads to a rocky beach further ahead called Praia da Baleia. As at Praia do Saquinho there is no electricity or any other urban benefit, there are no options for nighttime entertainment other than building a bonfire on the beach and contemplating the constellations.
