Santa Catarina Judiciary Museum

Installed in the Superior Hall of the Court of Justice in 1991, the Museum of the Santa Catarina Judiciary is responsible for preserving and disseminating the institution's memory, housing the processes, documents, books, weapons, furniture and utensils linked to the history of the Santa Catarina Judiciary. Among the Museum's routine activities are: the restoration of historical documents and objects, the cataloging of documents, processes and historical objects, making protective boxes for documents, inventory of historical photographs, digitization of historical documents and assistance to researchers and visitors. Collection Its collection consists of textual documents, engravings, photographs, furniture, pieces and objects from Santa Catarina's justice agencies since the end of the 1th century. The museum's most important document is the minutes of the installation of the State Court of Justice, dated October 1891, 25. Old processes, official correspondence, photographs of events and personalities, a replica of the legislation that created the judicial structure in the State and books of minutes of the plenary sessions are also part of the collection, which still has XNUMX raffle boxes.
