Schooner Tours

The Schooner Tours depart, for the most part, from the piers located in the central region of the city, under the Hercílio Luz Bridge and on Av. North Seaside (Centro) Of Canasvieiras (north of the island) and on Conceição Lagoon (East of the Island). In the tourist itinerary, landscapes that mix the old, the modern and nature; the paradisiacal beauties of the coast of the North Bay of the Island of Santa Catarina, the strengths XNUMXth century, dolphins and birds, small Islands and coves that enchant with their clear and calm waters that invite diving.

Departure from Canasvieiras Beach: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:30 am from the pier in Canasvieiras, on the right side of the beach. During the winter, tours take place by prior arrangement.

Basic route: Departure from the pier at Praia de Canasvieiras, panoramic view of the beaches Jurerê, Jurerê International, High, Daniela, encircling Anhatomirim Island (stop to visit the Fortress, built in the XNUMXth century) panoramic view of the Dolphin Bay. Contour of the Armação da Piedade Bay, in the municipality of Governor Celso Ramos (stop for bathing on the beaches), passage through Ilha do Francês (stop for bathing on the beach) and return to Canasvieiras. Lunch is provided in different places, according to the Tour Operator's preference.

Average tour duration: 5h, although some operators make the trip in up to 7 hours.
Travelled distance: 22 kilometers approximately.

Departure from downtown Florianópolis: from 10:30 am, from the pier under the Hercílio Luz Bridge or at the pier at Beira-Mar. During the winter, tours take place by prior arrangement.

Basic Route: Departure from the pier next to the old Arataca Beach, passage under the Hercílio Luz bridge, panoramic view of the Fortress of Sant'Anna, following the channel that separates Santa Catarina Island from the mainland, panoramic view of the Continental Rims and North Bay, João Paulo and Ponta do Goulart, Guarás Islands, Cacupé Beaches, Santo Antônio and Sambaqui, stopping at Raton Island Grande (Ratones) to visit the Fortress of Santo Antônio (third vertex of a triangular defense system, still formed by the fortresses of Santa Cruz de Anhatomirim e Sao Jose da Ponta Grossa). Then, towards Praia da Caieira da Armação, in Governador Celso Ramos, with a stop for lunch and a swim. After lunch, departure along the Bay of Dolphins and stop at Anhatomirim Island, to visit the XNUMXth century fortress. At the end, return to downtown Florianópolis.
