A Praia da Barra da Lagoa, as it is commonly called, is also known as Prainha do Leste.

Passing the Canal da Barra da Lagoa bridge, you take a small, somewhat steep, narrow and irregular trail that leads to Prainha. With only 70m long, it is very famous for the samba that takes place every Saturday at the only restaurant/bar there.

The beach faces the Atlantic Ocean and has the characteristics of an open sea beach, but its waves, despite being high, are mild, because of the design of its coast, not being intended for surfing.

But there are people who play football, enjoy the beach and even have a luau.
