Florianópolis has no tradition and much less climate for winemaking, however it is still a great consumer of this world delicacy. The Planalto Catarinense, located between the regions of Lages, Bom Retiro and São Joaquim, is characterized by the highest altitudes of Brazilian viticulture. With favorable climatic conditions and altitudes, better than the Serra Gaúcha, the region stands out with wines of great presence in the national and world market.

The only reason that could influence the drink would be that the concavity is a deposit of color and flavor aggregating sediments, but it is not a general consensus.
Harmonization
