Praia do Morro das Pedras is a neighbor of Praia do Campeche. Less busy and with a native community, it draws attention for the stones that surround it on its right side.
As it has no geographical divisions, this beach has a single strip of sand, passing through the Campeche beach to Joaquina Beach, which makes the three beaches have similar characteristics.
You can walk along the sands of "Joaca" (Joaquina Beach), pass through Campeche and reach Morro das Pedras, or vice versa, in a long and pleasant walk along the sand of these beaches.
The strong south wind does not change the conditions of the waves, which are always agitated; perfect spot for surfers. It is a beach that still preserves nature, which gives it an air of peace and tranquility. It is separate from Armacao Beach, to the south, by a cliff of rocks that gives unique beauty to the landscape.
At the top of the hill, in front of the costão, there is a building made with stones extracted from the place itself, where the Vila Fátima Retiro House works. functioning as a lookout, the view is one of the most beautiful in the south of Florianópolis.

Natural Features of Morro das Pedras
The beach is between Praia do Campeche and Praia da Armação. Long and wide, its strip of soft sand extends to Joaquina. The ocean waves are rough, perfect for surfing and somewhat dangerous for unsuspecting swimmers, children and the elderly. The extension is 2.450 meters and has a width of 5 to 45 meters.
