A FATMA, Fundação do Meio Ambiente, periodically issues a bathing report for the beaches of Florianópolis. For that are monthly analyzes, during the winter, and weekly analysis, during the summer, in 87 points in the main beaches of Florianópolis, in order to verify if they are suitable or not suitable for bathing. Of the points examined, in the last analysis, 60 are suitable for bathing e 27 are found inappropriate.
Obs1 - Most of the inappropriate points are concentrated in beaches considered non-touristy.
Obs2 - The number of inappropriate places tends to decrease in autumn, winter and spring.
