Movie Ambulance – A Crime Day (released on March 24 in Brazil)

Every time we talk about Jake Gillenhal, who stars in the movie “Ambulance – The Murder Day”, it’s hard to forget the actor’s magnificent performance when playing in 2015 a fighter who could very well be a huge success in the sports bookmakers online.

Fortunately, the actor repeats the same line of wonderful acting in his newest film, “Ambulance – The Murder Day”. Unlike the movieKnockout”, from 2015, the 2022 release does not speak of sports, but it's just as interesting.

Universal Pictures' movie "Ambulance" created a lot of buzz due to its action sequences, stellar cast of actors, and the Bay-hem created in the trailer by director Michael Bay.

In the film, Jake Gyllenhaal plays a fearless man who is on the journey of a lifetime. He juggles good and evil as he tries to help his adopted brother, played by Abdul-Mateen II, pay his wife's medical bills.

In the new film, Gyllenhaal and Abdul-Mateen are foster brothers Danny and Will who plan a dangerous bank robbery that would net them more than $32 million.

The story turns to brothers hijacking an ambulance, with a police officer on board, and holding hostages as they continue to convince the authorities that they are not the bad guys.

The group must now evade a massive manhunt as they try to keep the wounded police officer hostage safe and alive.

Abdul-Mateen II recently told Esquire as part of Gyllenhaal's cover story, “there were moments where he'd grab Mike's (Bay) camera and then you'd look around and Jake was filming the scene. I had never seen anything like this before. I'm curious about these things, but I would never ask the director if I could shoot a scene."

“Ambulance – The Murder Day” is directed by Michael Bay and features a cast led by Jake Gyllenhaal with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The film's screenplay by Chris Fedak is based on the 2005 Danish thriller Ambulance by Lauritis Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen.

Bay previously directed the hit films "Armageddon", "Pearl Harbor", "Bad Boys" I and II, as well as the Transformers films. His latest film “6 Underground” starring Ryan Reynolds is available on Netflix.

Whether you like him or not, most movie fans are at least somewhat familiar with Michael Bay. The director is mostly known for making movies with lots of explosions.

These movies include The Rock, Bad Boys and Transformers. While his films are generally unloved by critics, they almost always make money at the box office, and with Bay being one of the most commercially successful directors in the world, he's not going to stop making movies anytime soon.

Danish film adaptationyou

The high-stakes action thriller “Ambulance” was adapted by TV writer Chis Fedak (Chuck) as a remake of a 2005 Danish film called Ambulancen.

Several directors have already tried to take on this script, including Australian Phillip Noyce (Salt) and Israeli duo Navot Paphsbado and Aharon Keshales (ABCs of Death 2), but Bay's involvement ultimately got the project off the ground.

Cast

Jake Gyllenhaal (Nocturne), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman) and Eiza González (Baby Driver) are part of the main cast.

While Ambulancen focused on four characters in a single location, Bay has cast other actors for its remake who will likely appear in locations other than the ambulance.

However, some of these actors are still well-known and could play important roles in this new film, which is why they shouldn't be overlooked.

Devon Long (Doom Patrol), Garret Dillahunt (Army of the Dead), A Martinez (Longmire), Keir O'Donnell (Wedding Crashers), Colin Woodell (The Flight Attendant), Mose Ingram (The Queen's Gambit) and Jose Pablo Cantillo (Crank).

DC rapper Wale will also appear in the film, though his role has yet to be determined.

As of this moment, the only two actors in this supporting cast who have character names are Long and Cantillo, who will play, respectively, William Wallace and Jesus.

The first trailer debuted on August 25, 2021, at Universal's CinemaCon presentation and was publicly released two months later.

The footage features many of the fast-paced emotions that have become commonplace for Bay, while still focusing on Gyllenhaal and Abdul-Mateen's emotional performances.
