Floripa Eco Festival: music and sustainability in a major event

In the first edition, the festival brought together more than 22 thousand people, in three days of lots of music and interactivity.

Held from the 16th to the 18th of September, the first of the Floripa Eco Festival, showed that the public in the region was eager to honor the great names of national and international music. With a line-up that brought together more than 40 names, it promoted a return of Jorge Ben Jo to the city, the presentation of the Baco Exu do Blues, full of heat on a freezing night, enchanted the audience, as well as the meeting of Donavon com Mike love.

On the main stage of the event, attractions such as Emicida, Luedji Luna, Criolo, Planet Hemp, Felipe Ret, Rael, Rashid, Urias, Muse Maya and still the band from Santa Catarina dazaranha — about to complete 30 years of career.

Minutes later, the audience went wild when Emicida brought together on the stage the biggest names in national rap in recent years: Marcelo D2, BNegão, Criolo, Rael e Rashid, one of the moments that will be marked in the festival's premiere.

The event left a certainty: public and artists, through music, are engaged in a greater cause: the environment. Before the more than 16 hours of musical programming, the EcoSummit, which in an unprecedented format brought together content to entertainment with an extensive program of panels and presentations of inspiring cases from those who have already turned sustainability into a daily practice.

The Floripa Eco Festival is a realization of sleepwalkers, a company that also signs the consolidated Planet Brazil Festival, in Belo Horizonte (MG).
