Viver de Kombucha was born in 2019 without any pretensions. The founders, Lucas Jardim and Thalita Zago, are regular consumers of the probiotic and started producing it at home.  

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, all surplus homemade production was sold to a small group of neighbors, friends and acquaintances. It was there that the product began to take its first steps. 

The founding partners noted that there was good demand and that the product had achieved the quality required by customers.

In other words, good old-fashioned word of mouth helped build a loyal customer base. 

At the end of 2020, the partners made the decision to professionalize the business and then create a brand.

Today the entire production process is done in scale but they never forgot to maintain the quality and flavor that made the product stand out and the zeal for customers.

Viver de Kombucha has several points of sale in the south of the island and currently most purchases are made through the sales channel on the brand's own website. 

“We realized that people like the convenience of receiving the product at home. It is very simple to buy through the website. Customers can complete their purchase in just a few steps and receive the product wherever they are,” reinforces Lucas Jardim, who takes care of online marketing and sales. 

Lucas makes it clear that he will keep free shipping until the end of summer (2023) and for customers to discover the differentials of his Kombucha, they even offer a 5% discount on the first purchase. But attention, free shipping is only for the 12-unit kit. 

Currently, Viver de Kombucha delivers throughout Florianópolis, São José, Palhoça and Biguaçu.

How the brand was born in Sambaqui neighborhood, region where the partners lived, the first flavor of Viver de Kombucha, strawberry with hibiscus, was affectionately honored with the name of Sambaqui. 

The same homage was paid to the taste of lemon with ginger that bears the name of the Campeche

What is Kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented beverage made from teas, such as black tea or green tea, containing yeast and bacteria cultures, known as SCOBYs, which balance the intestinal flora, help strengthen the immune system and improve intestinal functioning.

Black tea is the most common ingredient used to make kombucha, but other ingredients can also be used, such as agave, honey, green tea, oolong, hibiscus tea, mate tea, fruit juice and ginger.
