1- Fernando “Xuxa” Scherer

            We are not talking about the queen of the little ones, but the multi-time world champion in swimming, Xuxa. Fernando Scherer was born in 1974, in Florianópolis, and currently works as an athlete entrepreneur, speaker and administrator of a famous gym located in Florianópolis, at Beira Mar Shopping. In his successful career as a swimmer, Xuxa was a three-time Olympic and Pan-American medalist.

2 - Vera Fisher

            Renowned actress and model, Vera Fischer was born in 1951 in the city of Blumenau. She started working as a model, and in 1969 she won the Miss Brazil, which gave it visibility at the national level. Since then, she has acted in several soap operas and miniseries, such as Laços de Família and O Clone.

3 - Filipe Luis

Born in Jaraguá do Sul and born in 1985, Filipe Luís is a football player who recently completed 100 games for Flamengo, but has traveled all over the world. Filipe started his career in the futsal team in his hometown, and soon caught the attention of the Santa Catarina under-15 team, where he was called up.

After being revealed by Figueirense in 2003, he transferred to Ajax, from Holland. In 2006, he was signed by Deportivo de La Coruña, where he was elected by UEFA as the best left-back in La Liga for the 2008–09 season. Then, Filipe Luís passed through Atlético de Madrid and Chelsea until 2019, when he returned to Brazil and signed with Flamengo until the end of 2021.

5 - Rodrigo Hilbert

            A national and global heartthrob, Rodrigo Hilbert is originally from Orleans, where he was born in 1980. He started working as a model at the age of 16. Today, he presents a cooking show on GNT, Tempero de Família, where he prepares recipes from Santa Catarina and other parts of Brazil.

6 - Christian Figueiredo

            Going to digital media, Christian Figueiredo is a Brazilian influencer, actor, presenter and singer well known throughout the country, especially by the young audience. Born in Blumenau, in 1994, Christian started recording videos for YouTube at the age of 15 for the channel “Eu Fico Loko”. Today, the “Christian Figueiredo” channel, where he posts vlogs with his family, has 7.58 million subscribers.

7 - dazaranha

            directly from Florianópolis, the band Dazaranha, also known as “Daza”, is a reggae rock band formed by six musicians. Like Expresso Rural, it is considered a popular band that represents Florianopolitan culture. The highlight of Dazaranha is the sound of percussion and violin.

8 - Paulo Roberto Falcao

Another football star, this time from the old days. Paulo Roberto Falcão was Brazilian multi-champion for Internacional (RS) and defended the Brazilian team. The current coach and sports commentator was born in Abelardo Luz, in 1953.
