With more than 2 thousand meters of built area, Coco Bambu inaugurated this Monday, 27th, the largest gastronomic operation in Santa Catarina at Shopping Iguatemi Florianópolis. In a three-story space with entrance on the L1 Floor of the mall, the space has a wine cellar with a capacity for 2 bottles, a wine list with more than 150 labels from all continents and a menu signed by executive chef Daniela Barreira. Among the most requested gastronomic delicacies are seafood such as lobster, shrimp, mussels, fish and squid.

Open since April 1, offering only delivery due to the pandemic, Coco Bambu has invested more than R$ 10 million in this project. With 37 units in 15 states of the country, the chain is specialized in seafood gastronomy and its history began in Fortaleza (CE) in 1989. To receive customers, several measures were taken to ensure safety and meet the recommendations of the agencies of health.

The restaurant will only receive 30% of the total of 480 people, which is the maximum capacity. All tables are at least 1,5 meters apart. A cleaning team is responsible for constantly sanitizing the environments, the card machines are disinfected before and after use and all employees wear masks and gloves. Another measure adopted is the availability of gel alcohol for all customers at the entrance and exit of the establishment. The product is also placed in strategic locations, so that customers and employees have access whenever they feel the need. Spaces with the highest concentration of people, such as the toy library and VIP room, will remain closed. The restaurant will also continue to serve the delivery and drive thru system.

happy hours

Even with reduced capacity, the restaurant chose to start work in the capital of Santa Catarina, inviting customers to a happy hour with promotional prices. The restaurant offers shrimp dishes from Monday to Friday for R$59,90 for lunch and dinner, and on the same days, from 17pm to 20pm, a pint of beer costs only R$2,99.
