FAM 2021 has free online programming – from September 23 to 29

The free program features 50 films from 12 countries, and 36 activities, including lectures, debates

A 25th edition of the Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul International Film Festival (FAM) 2021, one of the oldest in the country, and with continuous editions for a quarter of a century, starts this Thursday, 23, and continues until the 29. The free program features 50 films from 12 countries, and 36 activities, between lectures, debates and the fifth edition of the audiovisual market event, the Mercosur Co-production Meeting (ECM).

The activities are entirely online, for the second year, with live broadcasts from the studio set up at the Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis. The films will be shown on the platform of streaming https://play.innsaei.tv/, the lectures can be followed through the festival's YouTube channel and Facebook and every day there will be lives by Instagram.

There will be eight competitive shows (Shorts, Short Films from Santa Catarina, Children's Films, Documentary Feature Films, Fiction Feature Films, University Rally, Videocilpes and Work in Progress) and two invited ones, Animation and a guest documentary feature. The films are on air 24 hours a day, with an audience of 300 people per session, and can be watched in all South American countries.

Every day there will be a live at noon on Instagram, highlighting the day's schedule and with the participation of guests. In the days following the film screenings, the filmmakers participate in a debate at 19 pm on YouTube.

The program also includes the meeting "Rally Universitário: co-production from scratch" with students from Latin America who participated in previous editions, producing a short film in 100 hours during the festival. The mediation of Alejandro Fuentes (Fenavid), on Sunday at 17 pm.

Finally, the FAM 2021 Marathon is an opportunity to see or review a movie, and starts on the 29th at 18:300. Movies that haven't had 24 hits are aired again for XNUMX hours on Innsaei.tv.

The closing ceremony of FAM 2021 and delivery of the Panvision Trophy to the winning films, on Wednesday, 29, 20 hours, will again be live from the IFSC studio.
