Brazilian Beer Festival: Florianópolis tour prestige a great event in the sector

ViaVan Turismo provided the Capital public with comfort to go to the party, on Saturday (7); the event was attended by thousands of people

On May 7, the ViaVan Turismo organized a tour so that beer lovers and Germanic gastronomy could check out the 13th Brazilian Beer Festival, in Blumenau (SC). With hundreds of craft beer and draft beer options, the event brought together more than 28 people from May 5th to 7th, at Parque Vila Germanica.

Back on the national beer calendar after the cancellation of last year's edition, due to the pandemic, this edition of the Festival had 12% more visitors to the expectation of the Blumenauense Association of Tourism, Events and Culture (Ablutec), the organizing entity. According to the production, the estimate was that approximately 25 thousand people would attend the party.

“We celebrate these numbers, especially in light of the economic crisis. There is a pent-up demand for major events and we can consider it the biggest in Santa Catarina in 2022”, evaluates Develon da Rocha, president of Abluetc. “The brewers' testimonials confirm an increase in sales and in the average ticket, but we are still figuring out the exact proportion of this growth”, she adds.

With all seats occupied, ViaVan left Florianópolis around 14 pm and returned at 2 am on Sunday (8). Combining comfort and safety, the tour allowed the public living in and around the capital to enjoy the event without worries.

According to the organization of the festival, the brands most sought after by the public were the breweries Bodebrown, Leopoldina and Sunset.

The Festival and the Brazilian Beer Fair started last Wednesday (4), combining music, gastronomy, consumption and business in sectors 2 and 3 of Vila Germanica.

Throughout the event, there were 18 bands, alternating on two stages, from Blumenau, Balneário Camboriú, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and Argentina.

On Saturday (7), the little manezinhos who went to Blumenau were able to check out at least five bands. Along these lines, the international concert by the band The Beatles Argentina stands out, closing the night with a tribute to the British "kings of iê-iê-iê".

“The two events are the main promoters of the beverage culture in our country. We worked intensively so that both were attractive to their audiences and collaborated with the economy of this sector”, highlights Develon da Rocha, saying that the news for the 2023 editions will soon be released.
