Change is needed

The voter's displeasure goes beyond the borders of the island, which had over 80 votes for no one. In Brazil there were millions of abstention votes, white or null. They were the ones who didn't vote. Don't stop here. In the United States, the two candidates intensify the campaign for Americans to go to the polls, since it is not mandatory there. What do voters want, they ask. Undoubtedly what the candidates are not saying or proposing. With the political class the target of so many lawsuits, change will only come through the vote against sameness.

By the way

This Tuesday, part of the American electorate chooses the new president of the United States of America, the greatest power under the face of the Earth. And the two candidates bring nothing new. While the world is on fire, Trump and Clinton discuss the sex of angels... those little angels that live around American presidents.

Recount

They say that the elected mayor Gean Loureiro, after finding out about the debts and the leaks in the city hall, will ask the Regional Electoral Court to recount the votes. And it's crazy to lose.

Wow

When Konder Reis left and his cousin Jorge Bornhausen, a senator without a mandate, Alcides Ferreira, who enjoyed the Island, took over, he prophesied: Out the operetta, come in the disco. Well, this week we saw pineapple trucks leaving the streets of the island for the arrival of jabuticaba. This is what is happening in the city hall: the pineapple leaves – only announced cucumbers, and the jabuticaba gang enters, that bunch that comes clinging to the foot... of those who win the election.

Low

Enem exam Saturday took a lot of people out of bars and clubs on the island. Owner of Maurílio I, Carece, as he lacked beer on the Hang Loose holiday, bought 80 boxes for the weekend... more than half floated. But on Sunday it dawned with its Avaí one step away from the A series.

smoke

His brother, Dedé, from Maurílio II, rocked Joaquina beach with a stage and DJ until the crescent moon appeared in the sky. And the spotnik chimney didn't stop smoking

Rooster tail

It was no different from the bars and restaurants in the Santa Monica neighborhood. At the recently opened Rabo de Galo, completely packed with people, Friday and Saturday were quiet. But it has already been marked as the clubbing bar in what the breed has been calling Vila Madalena da Ilha.

surf formula

Gabriel Medina took a day off from surfing at Joaca to catch some waves at Barra da Lagoa on a board provided by Ernesto, the school's teacher. As he was staying at the same inn as Formula I driver Felipe Nasser, he gave his friend some lessons. And you really need it... in the car there was no wave.

more waves

We need more international surfing championships or legs on the Island. At least one more surf event in July vacation. And with the maintenance of Hang Loose, of course, already confirmed by the coordinator of the championship, the islander Xande Fontes.
