Voting mandatory?

Many voters already said before the vote that they would not go to the polls or annul their votes. It was confirmed by the high rate of votes given to no one as a protest against those presented by the parties. In Floripa alone, 68.618 voters canceled their vote. And across Brazil it was no different. A clear sign that we need something new in politics. And we also question whether or not voting should be mandatory.

PS Bornhausen

PSB grew in Brazil and Santa Catarina. Thanks to the work of Paulinho Bornhausen who stopped running for mayor of Itajaí to organize the party in the state. But it was locked up for the majority in 2018.

 

By the way

Both Paulinho's PSB and Jorginho's PR gave the party a boost by winning city halls and making many councilors. Both will have weight in the majority election. And if the conversation reaches the toucan nest, it's weight 3.

 

Forecasting

Former councilor Renato Geske was wrong in his reading before the election. He sang the ball that the PSOL would make two councilors in the Capital. He did three... including himself elected for another term and representing Lagoa da Conceição.
