And when there is an event that encourages reading and browsing the stories and stories contained in the books, it is important to highlight the holding of the first Catarinense International Literary Festival that took place last week in the city of Pedra Branca. With the presence of famous writers, FLIC becomes a landmark for literary meetings in the South of Brazil, just like the well-known and almost centenary Porto Alegre Book Fair. About two thousand books were sold at the first Catarinense International Literary Festival in five days that moved Pedra Branca. More than 800 titles were sold by Livros&Livros, most of them children's stories, about 600 books by Insular and more than 200 by Unisul publishing house.
